About the role

Provide compassionate, person-centered support to adults with serious mental illness to help them build independence and healthy coping skills. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living, medication adherence, and documenting progress within a recovery-oriented home.

Our 15-bed co-ed Residential Care Facility (RCF) in Keosauqua provides a supportive, recovery-oriented home where adults living with serious and persistent mental illness are empowered to build on their strengths, increase their independence, and create meaningful lives.

Responsibilities include: Supporting daily living and independent living skills Encouraging healthy coping strategies and emotional wellness Assisting with medication and appointment adherence Promoting healthy routines, nutrition, and community involvement Supporting goals identified in each person's Person-Centered Service Plan (PCSP) Documenting progress and providing trauma-informed, recovery-oriented care Every day brings opportunities to celebrate progress, encourage independence, and help individuals build meaningful lives.

Required Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older High school diploma or GED Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance Basic computer skills Ability to complete required training and maintain certifications

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in human services, behavioral health, healthcare, or direct support CPR/First Aid certification

Requirements

Candidates must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and reliable transportation. Experience in behavioral health or human services and CPR/First Aid certification are preferred.
