The Housing Specialist implements the permanent supportive housing model by collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and community agencies. They provide in-field support to clients and coordinate with landlords to ensure safe and appropriate housing placements.

Job Summary

The F/ACT Housing Specialist works with a multidisciplinary team to implement the permanent supportive housing model with members assigned to their respective F/ACT team. The F/ACT Housing Specialist is expected to work with community supportive housing agencies on temporary and permanent housing opportunities for their clients. The F/ACT Housing Specialist will provide in field support to clients and work with landlords to ensure ongoing safety to the client as well as the appropriateness of the placement

Skills/Requirements

Highschool Diploma or GED required. Associates Degree or higher in a field related to behavioral health preferred. 1-3 years of experience in behavioral health working in multiple settings and levels of care, including both mental health and substance abuse preferred. Minimum of six months of recovery from substance use and/or mental health disorders preferred. Current AZ Driver’s License in good standing. Clear 39-month Motor Vehicle Record. Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) in accordance with A.A.C. R9-10-101.33 and CBI Clinical Policies and Procedures. Fingerprint Clearance Card required. SOAR certification preferred. Certified to complete the Vulnerability Index Service Prioritization Decision Assistance Tool (VI-SPDAT) preferred.
