About the role

The therapist will conduct intake assessments, develop personalized treatment plans, and facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions. They are responsible for maintaining clinical documentation and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support clients with substance abuse and behavioral health challenges.

As a Licensed Therapist, you will play a key role in supporting individuals facing substance abuse, trauma, post-incarceration syndrome, and co-occurring behavioral health challenges.

You'll work in a collaborative environment, alongside a team of behavioral health specialists, case managers, and under the guidance of our Clinical Director.

What You'll Do: Conduct intake assessments to evaluate clients' needs and create personalized treatment plans.

Develop and adjust treatment strategies based on individual progress and goals.

Facilitate group therapy sessions following a structured curriculum.

One-on-one counseling sessions to track progress and adjust care as needed.

Collaborate with the case management and treatment teams to ensure comprehensive care.

Utilize clinical techniques like motivational interviewing, CBT, and other modalities to guide clients toward recovery.

Provide support for clients with substance abuse and mental health issues.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all interactions and therapeutic interventions.

Work closely with clients to help them set and achieve their personal recovery goals.

Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, ensuring they are on track for success.

Promote positive coping techniques, self-reflection, and healthy interpersonal relationships.

Provide a safe, confidential, and supportive environment for all clients.

Write and maintain thorough documentation, including medical and referral notes.

Participate in regular team meetings, ensuring that all treatment decisions are made collaboratively.

Qualifications

Education: Master's degree in Behavioral Health or related field preferred. Minimum of two years of experience in Behavioral Health required.

Licensure

  • Skills: Proficient in KIPU and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Certifications

Current CPR/BLS certification.

Experience

Proven experience in a clinical counseling role, with a strong understanding of mental health and substance use disorders.

Requirements
