• Summary: JOB SUMMARY The radiation therapist is an integral part of the radiation oncology treatment team. This person is responsible for the accurate delivery of therapeutic radiation treatments to patients and simulations for patient treatments under the direction of a radiation oncologist. What You'll Do Deliver safe, accurate, high-quality external beam radiation therapy treatments using Varian TrueBeam technology Verify treatment positioning and imaging according to established protocols Document treatments and patient information within Aria and Epic Collaborate with radiation oncologists, physicists, dosimetrists, nurses, and other oncology professionals Educate and support patients throughout their treatment experience Maintain the highest standards of patient safety, quality, and compassionate care Demonstrate flexibility to occasionally adjust scheduling based on patient volume and clinic needs What We're Looking For We are seeking a dependable, patient-centered Radiation Therapist who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and can step in confidently to support clinical operations when needed. Required Qualifications ARRT Certification in Radiation Therapy Current BLS Certification Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior Radiation Therapy experience Experience with Varian technology, TrueBeam, IGRT, and SGRT preferred but not required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Reliable attendance and scheduling flexibility Ability to work independently while contributing to a multidisciplinary oncology team Experienced therapists returning to practice are encouraged to apply. While this role is not designed for new graduates, candidates with prior Radiation Therapy experience who may need a brief refresher are welcome to be considered. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Administers daily radiation therapy treatments to patients assigned to the treatment unit, accurately and efficiently, at a speed consistent with patient scheduling for pediatric, adult and geriatric patients.
• Maintains records of daily treatment and other records as required.
• Participates in orientation and training of all new radiation therapists to include treatment unit-specific procedures and protocols, on call-procedures, simulation procedures and protocols and provides feedback in a timely manner to clinic director.
• Performs computed tomography (CT) simulation procedures and clinical simulations according to established department protocols.

• Possesses sufficient fundamental proficiency to administers daily radiation therapy treatments to patients assigned to the treatment unit, accurately and efficiently, at a speed consistent with patient scheduling for pediatric, adult and geriatric patients.

• Technology (Novice): Possesses sufficient fundamental proficiency to successfully demonstrate computerized tomography technology in practical applications of moderate difficulty. Generally works under the direction of others while accomplishing assignments.
