Overview Endoscopy Tech — GI Lab Tech in Lawrenceville, Georgia. This is a travel, temporary assignment starting 08/10/2026 for 13 weeks with guaranteed 40 hours per week. You’ll earn $1,555 to $1,560 per week and work 4 days with 10-hour shifts. Work will occur in an acute care setting performing inpatient and outpatient GI and pulmonary diagnostic and interventional procedures, including ERCP, SPYGLASS, EUS, and navigation bronchoscopy, under supervision in a GI Lab environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist physicians and nursing staff during GI and pulmonary diagnostic and interventional procedures (e.g., ERCP, SPYGLASS, EUS, navigation bronchoscopy)
  • Prepare procedural rooms, equipment, and supplies; maintain sterile technique and proper infection control
  • Assist with patient positioning, monitoring, and documentation of procedures; manage specimen labeling and specimen transport as needed
  • Operate and troubleshoot GI lab equipment and scope-related accessories; ensure accurate room turnover and supply management
  • Adhere to SGNA standards and AHA BLS requirements; communicate effectively with the care team and document relevant patient information

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a GI lab or closely related specialty
  • AHA BLS certification
  • SGNA Advanced Associates Program Certificate for GI Technologists
  • Ability to work in inpatient and outpatient GI lab and pulmonary diagnostic/interventional settings
  • Strong attention to infection control, patient safety, and teamwork
