Provides professional nursing care to patients while in the Emergency Department. The Registered Nurse may perform Triage after documentation of appropriate education. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for assessing, reassessing, and delegation of patients while in the Emergency Department.
Preferred: CEN or CCRN, TNCC
New graduates that have mentored in CCU or ED will be considered. 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care medical-surgical unit or in a critical care area is preferred.
Requires a degree from an approved professional nursing school and a valid NC or compact state RN license. BLS certification is required, with ACLS and PALS certifications needed shortly after hire.
