This Per Diem Hospice Chaplain position offers a flexible schedule while providing meaningful opportunities to serve individuals during one of life's most important journeys. As a Per Diem Hospice Chaplain, you will play a vital role in offering spiritual guidance, Christian counseling, emotional support, and compassionate presence. This Per Diem opportunity is ideal for someone who desires flexibility while making a lasting impact on the lives of others.   • Chaplain, you will: Provide compassionate Christian counseling and spiritual guidance to hospice patients, families, and caregivers. Offer emotional and spiritual support that respects each individual's beliefs, values, and wishes. Respond to crisis situations with calmness, compassion, and professionalism. Participate as a valued member of the interdisciplinary hospice team. Conduct spiritual assessments and develop individualized plans of spiritual care. Visit patients in homes, assisted living communities, nursing facilities, and other care settings as assigned. Facilitate prayer, scripture readings, devotional services, memorial services, and other faith-based support as appropriate. Educate patients, families, and staff on spiritual care, grief, end-of-life issues, and ethical concerns. Mentor individuals seeking spiritual growth or guidance. Prepare and deliver meaningful reflections, devotionals, and educational materials. Participate in bereavement support when appropriate. Plan and assist with community outreach events and programs that promote spiritual wellness. Communicate effectively with individuals from diverse cultural and religious backgrounds. Manage sensitive situations and conflict with professionalism, empathy, and respect. Maintain accurate documentation according to hospice policies and regulatory requirements. Requirements
