Overview Cardiovascular Technologist – Echo Tech travel assignment in Cumming, Georgia. Start date 08/10/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $1,712–$1,749 per week with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift is 2x3 Days. Work setting: hospital environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform echocardiography imaging to evaluate cardiac structure and function, including standard transthoracic exams and Doppler assessments.
  • Acquire high-quality images, optimize machine settings, and document measurements and findings in the patient record.
  • Prepare patients, explain procedures, assist with positioning, and ensure patient safety and comfort during studies.
  • Operate and maintain echocardiography equipment, follow QC protocols, and adhere to all infection control and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with cardiology team to communicate results and relay urgent findings per department protocol.
  • Maintain current credentials and stay compliant with AHA BLS guidelines; RDCS or CCI credentials or registry eligibility as applicable.

Requirements

  • Education: Graduate from an accredited school of Ultrasound Technology.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in echocardiography/cardiac sonography.
  • Certifications: Registered RDCS or CCI credential preferred; registry eligible considered; AHA BLS certification required.
  • Licensure: BLS certification required; RDCS/CCI credentialing or eligibility as specified.
  • Skills: Ability to perform imaging in a hospital setting and support a travel assignment schedule.
