Job Summary

The Mental/Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) tends to the physical and emotional needs of assigned clients and fosters a supportive group living environment.   • Monday-Friday
  • Standard: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
  • Monday-Thursday (10-hour shifts): 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Sunday-Wednesday
  • Rotation:
  • Sunday: 6:00 AM – 10:00 PM
  • Monday &
  • Tuesday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
  • Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 4:00
  • PM & 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM

PRN Schedule

  • Flexible schedules based on your availability and the needs of the campus.
  • Minimum requirement: One (1) shift every 30 days.

Responsibilities

Provide for the physical and emotional needs of clients, including

  • Providing meals and snacks
  • Assisting with personal care
  • Monitoring medication
  • Intervening in crisis situations

Facilitate a healthy group living experience, including

  • Creating a positive and supportive environment
  • Managing conflict
  • Enforcing house rules
  • Participate in a multi-disciplinary treatment team in the care of clients, including:
  • Attending treatment team meetings
  • Providing input on treatment plans Implementing treatment plans

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalency
  • Class E driver's license with good driving record
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Excellent time management
  • Oral and written communication skills
  • Word, Excel, and e-mail applications proficiency

Must be 21 years old to apply

Requirements
