• Responsibilities include: Emergency Patient Care Triage and assess incoming emergency patients Assist with emergency treatments, CPR, wound care, and stabilization Monitor hospitalized patients and respond to changes in patient condition Perform laboratory testing, blood collection, urinalysis, and diagnostic imaging support Administer medications and intravenous fluids Assist with emergency surgeries and anesthesia Provide compassionate client communication and discharge instructions Internal Medicine & Procedural Support Monitor anesthesia during Internal Medicine procedures Assist with endoscopy and advanced scope procedures Prepare and maintain anesthesia and procedural equipment Monitor anesthetic depth, vital signs, and patient recovery Assist veterinarians with advanced diagnostics and treatments Maintain detailed medical records and anesthesia logs General Responsibilities Perform excellent venipuncture and intravenous catheter placement Maintain accurate patient records Stock and organize treatment areas Maintain a clean and safe hospital environment Float between Emergency and Internal Medicine as patient needs require Collaborate closely with veterinarians and fellow technicians to provide exceptional patient care Required Qualifications Current California Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) license Minimum 1–2 years of veterinary technician experience in emergency, specialty, or general practice Experience monitoring anesthesia and anesthetic recovery Excellent venipuncture and intravenous catheter placement skills Strong patient assessment and critical thinking abilities Ability to multitask in a fast-paced emergency and specialty environment Comfortable floating between Emergency and Internal Medicine departments Strong communication and teamwork skills Commitment to compassionate, high-quality patient care

Preferred Qualifications
