The X-Ray Technologist operates radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic images of the body under physician supervision. Responsibilities include positioning patients, adjusting exposure controls, and following medical protocols to ensure patient safety.
IVI RMA North America is looking for a Full-Time X-Ray Technologist to work in our Basking Ridge, NJ Surgery Center. This role is Monday-Friday with 2 weekends per month.
Under the direct supervision of a Physician, the X-Ray Technologist will operate radiologic equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes. This individual will accurately position radiologic equipment and adjust controls to set exposure time and distance following established radiologic requirements and regulations to ensure patient care and safety.
Performs detailed radiographic examinations.
Establishes personal rapport with patients.
Provides explanations of procedures.
Understands, and is able, to follow MD protocols for procedures.
Effectively operates all pieces of equipment utilized within the scope of this job.
