Assists in the delivery of care to patients across multiple Cancer Center ambulatory practices, performing personal care and laboratory procedures. Supports various cost centers and satellite offices while adhering to medical center standards and safety policies.
Under supervision of the Administrative Nurse Manager and MA Supervisor, guided by policies and procedures of the Ambulatory Services, and in collaboration with the Clinical Nursing Staff, the Hospital Assistant III assists in the delivery of care to patients in multiple Cancer Center ambulatory group practices.
This position supports the various cost centers within the Cancer Center, multiple campuses, and satellite offices.
Work includes a variety of personal care and nursing procedures including assuring positive care outcomes.
They will perform assigned patient care and laboratory procedures in support of the specialty care services provided to patients within the practices.
They are required to learn and be able to assist in all Cancer Center specialty practices.
S/he is required to adhere to the Telephone and House Standards as adopted by the Medical Center.
