Overview Registered Nurse – ICU (Travel) | Los Angeles, CA, US This travel assignment starts on 09/14/2026 for 13 weeks in a Home Healthcare - Hospice setting. Weekly pay ranges from $1,766 to $1,776 with 36 guaranteed hours. Shift is a 3x12 night schedule (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM).

Responsibilities

  • Deliver coordinated nursing care for an individual patient or assigned group using established standards and the nursing process.
  • Assess data, develop and implement a care plan, and coordinate care with the interprofessional team to promote safe, effective outcomes.
  • Administer medications and treatments, monitor patient responses, and manage symptoms in a hospice setting.
  • Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff, delegating tasks appropriately and ensuring quality care delivery.
  • Educate patients and families, participate in discharge planning, and communicate with the treatment team to ensure continuity of care.
  • Document care and progress in the electronic health record (EPIC), and participate in huddles and care conferences as needed.

Requirements

  • Active RN license in the state of practice (California)
  • BLS certification (or CPR) from an approved vendor per policy
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) training
  • EPIC EMR experience required
  • Minimum two years of recent nursing experience; BSN preferred
  • Ability to work in a home healthcare - hospice setting and collaborate with patients, families, and a multidisciplinary team
