A full time, entry level position involving the studies of tissue culture and transgenic mouse models of Alzheimer's disease. The projects involve isolation of extracellular vesicles, biochemical and immunolabeling/histological analyses of mouse tissue. This position will support the Postdoctoral Fellows within the laboratory, although the highly qualified applicant will be able to develop research autonomy. JOB DUTIES:
Animal handling.
Biochemical analyses.
Immunolabeling/histology of fixed tissue.
Collection of data, including quantitative microscopic analyses of fixed immunolabeled tissue.
General laboratory work/preparation.
Cell culture. JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Requires a BS in Neuroscience with previous research experience, specifically in immunohistochemistry and GraphPad Prism. Experience with cell culture, Western Blot, and handling small laboratory animals is preferred.
