Weekly pay: $1,543–$1,660 per week.

Guaranteed hours: 36 per week.

Shift

4x10-hour days. This travel temporary assignment is in a hospital setting with coverage across a network of sites in the region.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic radiologic procedures with attention to patient safety and image quality, including X-ray, bone density, fluoroscopy, C-arm, and portable radiography as trained.
  • Position patients and select appropriate exposure factors; ensure accurate labeling and processing of images; maintain documentation and image quality standards.
  • Operate and maintain radiology equipment; adhere to radiation safety practices and ALARA principles; troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other health care staff to meet clinical objectives; adapt to site-specific workflows and patient needs.
  • Be willing to work at multiple locations within the network, including day, evening, and weekend shifts; assist with patient registrations or clerical tasks as needed.
  • If CT-trained, perform CT imaging and assist with other imaging modalities as assigned by site needs.

Requirements

  • ARRT Registered
  • Maine RT Licensure
  • BLS Certification - 2+ years of solid hospital radiology experience
  • CT-trained or CT-imaging experience preferred; fluency in bone density, fluoroscopy, C-arm, CT, and portable radiology is preferred
  • Ability to work across multiple locations and to handle varied shifts, including weekends
