Overview ER Registered Nurse — Travel assignment in a Critical Access Hospital setting located in Kremmling, Colorado. Start date: 08/17/2026.

Shift

Nights, 12-hour shifts.

Weekly pay: $1,771–$1,848 per week.

Guaranteed hours: 32 per week. This ED role supports patient care in a mountain community (approximately two hours west of Denver at about 7,000 feet), with potential coverage in Granby and Fraser, CO.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, triage, and provide ED nursing care from admission to discharge
  • Monitor patient status, administer medications, manage IVs, and assist with resuscitation per ACLS, PALS (or equivalent), TNCC, and BLS protocols
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans and coordinate care with the multidisciplinary team
  • Document thoroughly and ensure accurate handoffs during shift changes
  • Collaborate with physicians and ED staff, coordinate transfers or admissions as needed, and participate in trauma-related activities
  • Support holidays and on-call coverage as required by the assignment

Requirements

  • Active RN license (competency and scope per state regulations) with eligibility for practice in the assignment location
  • Certifications: ACLS, PALS or equivalent, TNCC, and BLS
  • Preferred: Emergency Department and/or CAH experience
  • Education: RN degree (associate, diploma, or baccalaureate) required
  • Ability to work nights and participate in on-call and holiday coverage
  • Willingness to work in a rural ED setting and potentially cover additional nearby communities (Granby & Fraser, CO)
