What you'll do as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA): Provide occupational therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist in accordance with the established plan of care.

Assist patients in improving their ability to perform activities of daily living and regain functional independence.

Implement therapeutic exercises and activities designed to enhance strength, coordination, balance, and mobility.

Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques, adaptive equipment, and home safety recommendations.

Observe, document, and report patient progress and communicate any changes to the supervising Occupational Therapist.

Collaborate with nurses, physical therapists, speech therapists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.

Who you are as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA): Passionate about helping individuals maximize their independence and quality of life.

A compassionate communicator who builds trusting relationships with patients and teammates.

Detail-oriented and organized with strong clinical observation and documentation skills.

Comfortable working independently while remaining an active member of an interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program with a current Pennsylvania Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license, or the ability to obtain one prior to starting.

Current CPR certification or the ability to obtain prior to employment.
