A Speech-Language Pathologist Evaluates and treats patient populations for swallowing, speech-language and therapy needs.
Performs and documents initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition.
Designs and implements a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient and family.
Educates and counsels patients and families regarding treatment plans and progress.
Plans and/or assists with patient discharge from therapy services.
Supervises activities of clinical fellows, students, and other support personnel.

Candidates must hold a Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology and possess a current license from the KY Board of Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology. Additionally, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 60 days of hire.
