Description The clinic scribe will work closely with providers in our ophthalmology clinic accompanying physicians/optometrists during patient visits and documenting the assessment and exam. Appropriate documentation of patient history, physical exams, assessments, diagnostic results, and follow-up instructions is essential. Navigate the electronic medical record. Review of patient charts to facilitate medical decisions by the physician.
This position is full time. Monday-Friday 8a-5p. No weekends or holidays. CVMS offers an excellent benefit package to include PTO, health, vision, and dental insurance. 401K with match. Profit sharing opportunities available.
General knowledge and understanding of anatomy, the diagnosis process, and pharmacology. Basic computer knowledge and navigation of an EMR system. Current BLS and Mandatory Reporters Certification.
