Obtain and document patient medical histories, medications, allergies, and procedure information.
Assess patients by obtaining and recording vital signs.
Start IVs and prepare patients for procedures, including positioning and draping.
Assist physicians during procedures and provide clinical support as needed.
Monitor patients during recovery and complete accurate electronic documentation.
Educate patients regarding procedures, medications, recovery expectations, and discharge instructions.
Prepare procedure rooms with required equipment, medications, and sterile supplies.
Turn over and sterilize procedure rooms between cases.
Escort patients to and from the recovery area.
Address patient questions and concerns with professionalism and compassion.
Complete post-procedure follow-up calls.
Collaborate with the nursing team to promote safe, high-quality patient care.
Required Current, unrestricted Indiana Registered Nurse (RN) license. Minimum of one (1) year of clinical nursing experience. Current BLS certification. Preferred ACLS certification. Previous experience using an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. You'll excel in this role if you: Communicate confidently and compassionately with patients and colleagues.
