Adventure Dental & Orthodontics in Baltimore, MD, is currently seeking an Orthodontic Assistant to provide efficient, high-quality care to our patients. This position will report to the Lead Orthodontic Assistant.
Pay range: $20-$28/hr
Sign on bonus: $1000
Job Responsibilities
Provide orthodontist with excellent chair-side assistance by fitting orthodontic bands, setting up bonding, placing archwires, delivering appliances, and removing braces in a timely manner
Collect and record patient medical history in Electronic Healthcare Records (EHR) system
Collaborate with others to provide high-quality care and experience for our patients and their families
Ensure practice is clean and presentable to patients to include cleaning restrooms, patient lobby, mopping, vacuuming, dusting etc.
Participate in other duties that support the mission of providing high-quality and compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved children
In addition to the job description, you will be asked to perform other duties that support the business and our mission.
Candidates must have radiology training that meets state requirements and a current BLS CPR certification. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced dental environment are essential.
