The Role: What You'll Do We are seeking a reliable, skilled, and patient-focused Dental Assistant to join our clinical team. In this role, you will work side-by-side with our doctor across a variety of general dentistry procedures, ensuring our patients feel comfortable, safe, and well-cared for from the moment they sit in the chair. Key Responsibilities: Chairside Assisting:Assist the doctor during clinical procedures, maintaining efficient instrument pass-through and patient comfort. Diagnostic Imaging: Prepare patients for and capture high-quality dental X-rays. Clinical Preparation & Sterilization: Turn over operatories between patients, sterilize instruments, and strictly follow infection control and OSHA guidelines. Patient Care & Comfort: Seat patients, review health histories, explain treatment steps in warm/accessible terms, and provide post-operative instructions. Hygiene Support: Assist hygiene team members with charting, room turnover, and clinical workflow when needed. Clinical Documentation: Accurately record patient treatment notes and charts in a timely manner. What We Are Looking For Required Qualifications: Certifications: Active Arizona Dental Assistant Certification and AZ Dental Radiologic (X-Ray) Certification is required.
Candidates must hold an active Arizona Dental Assistant Certification and an AZ Dental Radiologic (X-Ray) Certification. Prior hands-on dental assisting experience is required to perform clinical duties effectively.
