Provide direct nursing care and health assessments to individuals with developmental disabilities (DDA population) Develop, implement, and monitor individualized health care plans in compliance with DDA regulations Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, caregivers, and external healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care Administer medications, perform treatments, and document clinical findings accurately Train and supervise direct support professionals (DSPs) on health-related protocols and procedures Conduct routine health screenings, wellness checks, and follow-up appointments Ensure compliance with Maryland DDA policies, COMAR regulations, and agency standards
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Maryland Experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities (IDD) preferred Knowledge of Maryland DDA regulations and COMAR healthcare standards Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills Ability to train and mentor direct care staff on health and safety protocols CPR/First Aid certification required or ability to obtain upon hire Compassionate, patient, and advocacy-focused approach to care About Us: Housing Advocacy Vocational and Employment (HAVE) is a dedicated organization serving individuals with developmental disabilities in the Easton, MD area, committed to empowering clients through quality care, advocacy, and community inclusion.
