The physician will join an expanding Anesthesia team providing service across the Carle enterprise, including Level I Trauma, Open Heart, and Neurosurgical cases at Carle Foundation Hospital. The role primarily involves the medical-direction of CRNAs across a wide variety of cases, excluding transplants, burns, and pediatric hearts.
The Advanced Practice Provider will evaluate and treat patients presenting to a busy, Level 1 Trauma Center Emergency Department with an average volume of 200-300 patients daily. This role involves working a variable/rotating schedule including 12-hour shifts, covering days, evenings, and overnights across 13-14 shifts per 4-week block.
The role involves joining a Level III NICU team in a 48-bed unit, providing coverage alongside Neonatologists and other Advanced Practice Providers.
