The role involves accurately positioning patients and selecting optimal exposure factors to produce high-quality diagnostic images while administering contrast media and medications safely. Responsibilities also include monitoring patients for abnormal activity, ensuring prompt image submission to PACS, and maintaining equipment functionality and a clean clinical environment.
Minimum requirements include obtaining a BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire, along with holding credentials such as Cardiographic Tech, Radiologic Technologist (ARRT), or Medical Sonographer, and possessing a Wisconsin State Radiology Technologist license. Education requires either a High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of experience, an Associate's degree/Technical degree, or 4 years of applicable job-specific experience.
