The technologist will perform computerized tomographic procedures for disease and injury diagnosis following radiologist protocols, which includes preparing and positioning patients and administering contrast media as required. They must also observe patients during procedures, report abnormal activity, and adhere to radiation safety guidelines.
Candidates must possess required credentials such as Radiologic Technologist certification from the Wisconsin Radiography Examining Board and potentially specialty certifications like NMTCB(CT) or ARRT(CT). Education requirements include a High School diploma with two years of experience, an Associate's degree, or four years of relevant experience, along with obtaining BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire.

How you’ll make an impact in this role Prepare and position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately. Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations. Observe patient during procedure and report abnormal activity.
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
