How you’ll make an impact in this role Core Pharmacist Responsibilities

• Safe and
• Effective
• Medication
• Management
• Order
• Management: Review and validate all medication orders for clinical appropriateness. Screen for interactions, duplications, and contraindications. Resolve issues with prescribers and document interventions.
• Preparation &
• Dispensing: Accurately compound specialized sterile/non-sterile medications (e.g., chemo, TPN) per regulatory standards. Ensure correct dispensing, labeling, and inventory control.
• Clinical
• Expertise &
• Education: Provide expert pharmacotherapy information to providers. Offer comprehensive, patient-centered counseling on complex medications (action, administration, side effects, adherence).
