The role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures under physician direction while providing compassionate, age-specific care to patients ranging from neonates through geriatrics. Responsibilities include adhering strictly to all hospital safety standards, radiation protocols (ALARA, Image Gently, Image Wisely), and maintaining accurate records and patient confidentiality.
Candidates must possess an Associate's Degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program and hold required certifications (ARRT-R and Ohio RT:R) plus BLS upon hire. While 2-5 years of experience is preferred, new graduates will be considered, and proficiency in operating various x-ray equipment and strong communication skills are mandatory.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Clear knowledge of x-ray equipment (digital/analog), image printers, computers, PACS and radiology information system.
