The role involves evaluating patients and conducting medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs, including performing initial and ongoing assessments of patient conditions. Responsibilities also include establishing and revising the plan of care, performing therapy interventions, and overseeing support personnel like assistants and students.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree, with a Master's degree preferred, and hold a Licensed Rehab Therapist specializing in Physical Therapy credential from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts prior to hire. A BLS Provider certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire, and inpatient rehab experience is preferred but not required.

How you’ll make an impact in this role Create individualized treatment plans that empower patients and their families to achieve their specific recovery goals. Evaluate patient conditions through comprehensive assessments to ensure every clinical intervention is tailored to their unique needs. Perform evidence-based therapy interventions to improve patient mobility and enhance their overall quality of life. Lead and mentor support personnel, including assistants and students, to maintain a high standard of collaborative care across the rehab team
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Physical Therapy (PT) license credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Bachelor's degree required. Master's OR Doctorate degree preferred.
