Responsibilities also include managing treatment and medication safety through prescribed therapies and performing essential diagnostic and therapeutic services like laboratory tests.
Candidates must possess a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse credential from the Indiana Board of Nursing prior to the hire date. A High School diploma or equivalent, or one year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience, is required, along with obtaining BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire.

How you’ll make an impact in this role Support patient health and recovery by conducting vital clinical assessments and monitoring well-being to ensure early intervention and high-quality outcomes. Manage treatment and medication safety by administering prescribed therapies and closely observing patient responses to ensure every treatment is effective and safe. Perform essential diagnostic and therapeutic services by executing laboratory tests and treatments that provide the data needed for accurate medical decisions. Empower patients and families through education by translating complex discharge plans into clear, holistic self-care instructions that ensure a successful recovery at home.
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
