The Physical Therapist evaluates patients, plans and provides therapeutic interventions using a team approach, and is responsible for communicating treatment programs with team members, patients, and families. Responsibilities also include supervising support personnel, participating in program development, and providing clinical education and in-services.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree and maintain Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) certification and state licensure to perform the required duties. The role involves weekend work with intermittent holiday coverage, and openness to weekday coverage is expected.

Evaluates patients, plans for and provides therapeutic interventions in a transdisciplinary/team approach. Responsible for the communication and coordination of treatment programs with other team members including the patient/family. Directly supervises assistants, interns and other support personnel, participates in program developments, continuous improvement and clinical education; and provides in-services to staff, hospital personnel and the community. Will also be expected to be a member of a collaborative team which is patient focused, functional outcome based and patient/family centered.
