The technologist performs various technical procedures that directly involve applying ionizing radiation and other forms of energy under the guidance of the Lead CT Technologist or Assistant Director. This role requires competence in components of CT radiographic practice as determined by leadership.
Candidates must have satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training from an AMA-approved school, or equivalent experience, along with specific certifications including CRT, RHF, ARRT, IV Certification, and BLS upon hire. Experience should demonstrate competence in CT radiographic practice.
Primary work location is Berkeley, CA, with occasional coverage required in Oakland, CA.
Eligible for up to a $10,000 sign-on bonus, per Sutter Health policy for external candidates.
Performs duties directly involving a variety of technical procedures, applying ionizing radiation and other forms of energy. General guidance and direction provided by the Lead CT Technologist, and/or Assistant Director.
EDUCATION Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma. HS Diploma or equivalent education/experience Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training in an AMA approved school.
