The Certified Nursing Assistant provides general nursing care, implementing the plan of care under the oversight of LPNs and RNs by offering physical and psychosocial support to patients and their families. Duties include performing assessment data collection, utilizing universal precautions, and assisting team members as a patient advocate and resource.
Candidates must possess a current CNA license in good standing with the Nurse Aide Registry and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. While one year of experience is preferred, the role requires the ability to handle multiple priorities and adhere strictly to facility policies and state regulations.

The purpose of this position is to provide general nursing care, working collaboratively with R.N., L.P.N., other C.N.A.’s, and multidisciplinary team members. The C.N.A. will provide professional care for patients of all ages, genders, cultures, and backgrounds by providing physical and psychosocial support to patients, friends, and family members.
The C.N.A. will provide patient care by implementing the plan of care to deliver efficient, effective, and quality patient care under the oversight of other personnel, including but not limited to L.P.N. and R.N.
The C.N.A. must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care and is expected to adhere to and abide by policies of the facility and the rules and regulations set forth by Cleveland Area Hospital and the State of Oklahoma.
EDUCATIONAL/SKILLS REQUIRED: Current C.N.A license and in good standing with the Nurse Aide Registry BLS Able to handle multiple priorities EXPERIENCE: One year preferred RESPONSIBILITY FOR CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION: This position may have access to patient confidential records and must comply with HIPAA regulations and Cleveland Area Hospital Policies.
