The Registered Nurse is independently responsible and accountable for prescribing, delegating, and coordinating patient care, utilizing clinical judgment to develop appropriate plans of care aimed at promoting comfort. This role also involves overseeing the care delivered by the patient care team and providing education to patients, families, and team members.
Candidates must possess at least 1 year of registered nursing experience and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) at the time of hire. Required certifications include a current Texas RN license, BLS from AHA, and department-specific requirements like PALS/NRP/ACLS and PACES certification.
Registered Nurse This position will float to General Pediatrics, Inpatient Surgery, GI, Renal, Hematology Oncology, Neurology and Pulmonary.
Independently performs the functions of a registered nurse in direct patient care. Utilizes the nursing process in the delivery of developmentally appropriate care. Also works in collaboration with other health care professionals to provide a comprehensive plan of care to meet the patient/family needs. This job is intended for Registered Nurse Pool assignments.
