Provide counseling, education, and support to bereaved clients coping with serious illness or death through individual sessions and group support. Serve as a psychosocial resource for hospice staff and provide grief assistance to community agencies and businesses.
Requires a Master's degree in counseling or social work and a valid Colorado state license (LPC, LCSW, LMFT). Candidates must have at least one year of experience in grief work and working with adults or older adults.
Grief Counselor: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm

The Grief Counselor is responsible for providing counseling, education and support to bereaved clients who are coping with serious illness and/or death of a loved one through phone calls, counseling sessions and group support. This person will serve as a resource on psychosocial issues related to coping with a serious illness or grief for other hospice staff and members of our community. They will provide grief in the workplace assistance and other education to community agencies and businesses who are dealing with issues related to serious illness or grief as needed.
