The Medical Assistant II assists in the examination and treatment of patients while working under the direction of a physician. This role requires the ability and willingness to travel to other physician offices as requested or needed.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with an Associate Degree and/or Certified/Registered MA preferred, and graduation from a Medical Assistant program or previous experience is mandatory. Required skills include excellent computer proficiency (Outlook, Excel, EMR, scheduling systems) and strong interpersonal skills for respectful interaction with various personnel.
