Admissions Registered Nurses conduct thorough patient assessments, collaborate with patients and families to understand needs, and facilitate smooth transitions into care programs while adhering to regulatory requirements. They initiate the patient's plan of care, provide ongoing assessments of physical, psychological, social, and spiritual needs, and ensure accurate documentation is completed promptly.
Candidates must currently be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida, with one year of Hospice-related nursing experience preferred. Essential duties include acting professionally, demonstrating flexibility, utilizing critical thinking for admissions evaluation, and maintaining compliance with all standards and regulations.
