The Technician provides critical data to doctors by performing administrative and clinical functions, including obtaining patient histories and conducting preliminary testing. They are also responsible for coordinating patient scheduling and maintaining the readiness and cleanliness of the exam rooms.
Candidates must be capable of performing various clinical support tasks, such as preparing patients, assisting doctors with exams, and managing office flow and supplies. Physical requirements include standing for long periods and the ability to lift up to 15 lbs regularly, along with maintaining necessary visual acuity.
The Technician fulfills an important role in providing data that is critical to the doctor in order to provide proper care and treatment to each patient. They ensure the practice’s quality standards are met, while completing specific, essential responsibilities that pertain to the patient’s experience and effective communication.
