The primary duty involves creating prescription orders by accurately interpreting and entering prescription information into the processing system, following all established pharmacy procedures and guidelines. This includes verifying patient identity, ensuring prescription details are complete, updating patient profiles, and conducting quality checks before finalizing orders.
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent and be a Registered Pharmacy Technician with the State of Florida, with a minimum of one year of pharmacy experience preferred. Key abilities include entering prescriptions at rates of 30 or 60 per hour depending on the source, strong attention to detail, and effective communication skills.

This position is in a typical office environment which requires prolonged sitting in front of a computer. Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office equipment including operation of standard computer and phone equipment. May have occasional high stress when dealing with customers/clients. Some travel may be required.
