Job description

We are seeking a courteous, friendly, and self-motivated individual to join our\nObstetrics (OB) team in a unique role that blends patient care and unit support,\nin an "as needed" capacity. This position combines CNA responsibilities with\nlight secretarial duties in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where no two\nshifts look the same.\n\nCNA / Patient Care Responsibilities:\n\n * Assist nurses in caring for laboring patients, postpartum patients,\n outpatients, and newborns\n\n * Support newborn care and family needs\n\n * Help maintain a clean, safe environment, including room turnover and cleaning\n medical equipment\n\nUnit & Secretarial Support:\n\n * Answer phones and warmly greet patients and families\n\n * Assist with patient paperwork and entering charges\n\n * Order and organize supplies to keep the unit running smoothly\n\nThis position is to fill in for regular staff time off or occasionally pick up\nextra when needed due to census needs or other staff availability. Perfect\nposition for a nursing student around class schedules or breaks, or an\nexperienced CNA looking for some extra hours.
