What you’ll do

As a cna, you will assist licensed nursing staff and provide compassionate care to residents.

Responsibilities

• INCLUDE:
• Providing hands-On care to long-Term residents and short-Stay patients
• Assisting residents with activities of daily living (Adls) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and toileting
• Taking and recording vital signs, height, and weight
• Assisting residents to meals, activities, and common areas
• Supporting and following individual care plans
• Observing and reporting changes in resident condition
• Documenting care using point of care (Poc) systems
• Assisting nurses with additional resident care needs

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Current cna certification through the texas health and human services commission
• Previous cna experience preferred
