Licensed Vocational Nurses provide essential nursing care, supervise nursing assistants and ancillary staff, and are responsible for ensuring resident safety and satisfaction. Key duties include administering prescribed medications and treatments, monitoring resident conditions, and participating in care plan development.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited vocational nursing program and hold a current LVN license from the Texas State Board of Vocational Nurse Examiners, along with CPR certification. Previous LVN experience and knowledge of nursing theory, ideally with geriatrics experience, are preferred.
