The Social Worker provides general casework services to assigned clients and their families, which includes coordinating and collaborating with various external agencies like the Conservator's Office and Probation Department. Candidates must possess a Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited school and a valid California Driver's License, along with one year of direct service experience with mentally ill individuals in an inpatient or outpatient setting. Required skills include effective multidisciplinary teamwork, understanding client rights, knowledge of the conservatorship process, and basic medical/psychiatric terminology.

Sage House is a licensed 16-bed mental health rehabilitation center (MHRC) serving San Mateo County residents, 18-59, with long histories of mental illness and multiple episodes of acute psychiatric hospitalization.
This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement and is subject to union membership requirements upon hire.”
Expected starting wage is $34.62. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.
The Social Worker provides general casework services to assigned clients and their families. This involves coordinating and collaborating with other services and agencies such as the Conservator's Office, Public Defender's Office, Child Protective Services, Probation Department and County Mental Health Services.
One (1) year of direct service experience with mentally ill individuals in an inpatient or outpatient setting is required. A Masters Degree in Social Work from an accredited graduate school of Social Work and a valid California Driver's License are also required. Necessary skills include the ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team, a thorough understanding of client rights, an understanding of the conservatorship process and knowledge of basic medical and psychiatric terminology. Criminal justice clearance and education verification are required.
