The Certified Pharmacy Technician will assist the pharmacist in ensuring timely and accurate medication provision to patients, performing tasks such as unit dose dispensing, sterile and non-sterile compounding, and medication packaging. Key duties also involve inventory control, record keeping, billing, and operating automated pharmacy technology under direct pharmacist supervision.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and hold an active, approved Pharmacy Technician Certification registered with the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy. Previous pharmacy technician experience is preferred, along with effective communication skills and aptitude for mathematical calculations.
Education: High school graduation or equivalent Licensure / Certification: Approved Pharmacy Technician Certification. Active registration as a Certified Tech with Ohio State Board of Pharmacy.
