The Occupational Therapy Assistant will work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver a full spectrum of physical, occupational, and speech therapy services aimed at enhancing the quality of life and independence for senior residents. This involves addressing diverse therapeutic needs to improve residents' overall physical health and well-being.
Applicants must possess an active Indiana Occupational Therapy Assistant license or meet the qualifications to obtain one, which includes graduating from an ACOTE-accredited program and passing the NBCOT examination. A current OTA license is mandatory for consideration.
Description This position requires an active State Occupational Therapy Assistant license. Applicants without a current OTA license will not be considered.
HTS is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our multidisciplinary team providing a full range of physical, occupational, and speech therapy services to improve the quality of life for our senior residents. In this role, you will work with a diverse population of residents, addressing their unique therapeutic needs to help them achieve greater independence and improved physical health. Applicants must have an active Indiana Occupational Therapy Assistant license or must have the necessary qualifications to earn Indiana license. These qualifications include a degree from an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy assisting program, subsequent passing of the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT®) examination, and fulfilling the state’s requirements for licensure.
