The Residential Therapist provides individual and/or family therapy based on approved intervention strategies, ensuring all clinical documentation, including assessments and progress notes, is completed accurately and timely according to regulations. Responsibilities also include facilitating group therapy, attending daily meetings, and acting as a liaison between staff and clients.
Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in a relevant field (MFT, Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work) along with one year of experience working with severely emotionally disturbed or co-occurring disorder individuals. A current Florida license in Mental Health/Social Work/or Marriage and Family Counseling is required, along with essential computer skills and a valid Florida Driver's License.
Position: Residential therapist (Licensed)
Reports to: Residential Manager
To provide individual and or family therapy according to intervention strategies approved by Agape Network and Medicaid, and DCF regulations when deemed medically necessary to be provided residential treatment services to improve to quality of life.

Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work, plus one-year experience working with severely emotionally disturbed individuals served or individuals with co-occurring disorders. Licensed in the state of Florida in Mental Health/Social Work/ or Marriage and Family Counseling required. Computer skills are essential.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.
