The Medical Coordinator ensures timely scheduling and documentation of all medical appointments in collaboration with the RN, manages prescription submissions, and oversees medication counts and storage compliance. Additionally, the role involves direct support duties such as assisting with daily routines, meal preparation, and laundry when medical tasks are complete.
Candidates must maintain AMAP certification and possess comprehensive knowledge of OPWDD regulations, along with strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. A valid NYS Driver’s License and computer literacy are also required for this position.
