About the Role

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide essential clinical support within our healthcare team.

The LPN works closely with providers to support day-to-day clinical operations while serving as a resource and support for nursing staff and Medical Assistants.

Responsibilities include assisting with patient care activities, providing clinical support to healthcare providers, coordinating and monitoring patient care needs, and helping to ensure efficient clinical workflow.

The LPN also provides guidance and supervisory assistance to nursing staff, supports Medical Assistants in their daily responsibilities, and advocates for patients throughout their care experience.

This position plays a key role in maintaining quality standards, promoting positive patient outcomes, and ensuring compassionate, efficient care delivery across the practice.

Key Responsibilities
Record a patient’s medical history accurately
Accurately take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate and other vitals
Prescribe and administer medication to patients and monitor patients while on such medications
Contact patients with test results and diet teaching
Administer injections, clean and dress wounds and assist with other basic medical care tasks
Collect samples for lab testing as assigned
Provide emotional and psychological support when needed
Communicate with patients, pharmacies, other providers or home care agencies

Required Qualifications
3+ years of previous LPN experience.
Familiarity with hospital health, safety and sanitation standards and procedures
Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices
Excellent knowledge of medical and hospital terminology, previous use of EPIC EMRs are required.
Strong working knowledge of MS Office and data entry
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Requirements

Candidates must have at least 3 years of LPN experience and a valid LPN license. Proficiency in EPIC EMR, medical terminology, and MS Office is required, along with a strong understanding of health and safety standards.
