This role is well-suited for individuals who are empathetic, resilient, and motivated by purposeful, hands-on work.

About the Role

Mental Health Associates work directly with patients of all ages within Brook Lane’s inpatient units. You’ll collaborate closely with nurses, therapists, and providers to support treatment plans and ensure patient safety, dignity, and engagement in care.

Market context

Behavioral health roles remain steady in Maryland

Behavioral-health roles in Maryland are typically driven by ongoing demand in community programs, outpatient settings, and care teams supporting patients with complex needs. These positions can be competitive because employers often look for a high school diploma or GED, at least two years of related experience, and an active American Heart Association BLS certification.
