Med Techs administer and accurately record medication administration under nurse supervision, obtain and report vital signs, and manage medication supplies. They also provide personal care, assist residents with daily living activities, and observe/report changes in resident condition.
Candidates should ideally have six months of experience passing medications in a retirement community setting, though CMA certification is a plus but not required. The ideal candidate must be caring, organized, able to multi-task, and communicate effectively in English.
